The Cat's Pajamas September Release BLOG HOP!!!

Well, it's New Release time from The Cat's Pajamas!  After a week of Sneak Peeks, the Cat Pack has one last bunch of tricks up their sleeves, a blog hop!

If you made it here from Noelle's Blog, you are moving along in the right direction!

As usual, I wasn't able to hold myself to one project.  My first card spotlights the adorable Bunny with the big heart.  This is such a meaningful set, "Survivor".  In real life I am an RN/CDE, which translated means I work every day with people who live with diabetes.  It is my daily prayer and my hearts desire that I become unemployed because we find a cure for this monstrous condition.  Until we do, this little Bunny reminds us to work together to Fight, Cure, Win!  It was serendipitous that todays TCP Color Challenge works perfect with the grey diabetes awareness ribbon.

Every year I make calendars for my coworkers, so 1 down,  4 to go, and "Survivor" makes it perfect!

This second project is just a fun little jar I had that was begging to be made more ghoulish.  It features the new CutUps Fancy Flip and Fancy Flip Frames as well as the cutest scariest Mummy around from the new set "Brains".

For more fabulous inspiration head on over to Lori's Blog.  She has skills nothing short of brilliant.

Thanks so much for stopping in, I have had a blast playing with the Cat Pack on this wonderful release!  I am so bless the have had the opportunity!

Aloha,
Brenda

Sneaky Peek Day 6, Joy to the World

Wow, the last day of the Sneaky Peeks!  This may be the last, but it is certainly not least of the seven new sets new The Cat's Pajamas release!  Everyones favorite penguins are back to sing in the holidays.  Did these little ones ever get names?  Doesn't matter cuz they have never looked cuter than in their caroling attire.  Here's my take using Sweet Sunday Sketch #237.

Once again, I couldn't stop with just one. I woke up Saturday morning with shaker cards in my mind and this is what came out of it.

This card used "Joy to the World", but I cut this little penguin so he could sing solo in a shaker made from the Fancy Flip and Fancy Flip Frames CutUps. I grabbed the sentiment from the set previewed yesterday, Big, Fat Holiday Greetings.  Here, the free cut file for the greeting was used and I fussy cut the red border.

Sneaky Peek Day 6, Big Fat Holiday Greetings

Welcome to Day 5 of The Cat's Pajamas Sneaky Peaks.  Say hello to Big, Fat Holiday Greetings.  They are perfect teamed up with the CutUps Fancy Flip Frame die.

I used the easel card option for this project.  I had a really hard time getting good pictures for some reason.  You just have to believe me, it turned out so nice in real life.  To see just how many ways you can use this die take a look at this video.

For my second card, I used the same great CutUps die and created a flip card.

The sentiments for both cards are from Big, Fat Holiday Greeting.  The cut snowflake is also from this gotta have set.  It is chock full of sentiments and details perfect for your holiday projects.

Want to see more ways to use Big, Fat Holiday Greetings?  Check out The Cat's Pajamas Blog here.  After that, you know the drill...head over to SplitcoastStampers and comment on this thread for a chance to win one of the new release stamp sets.

Sneaky Peek Day 5, BRAINS

Wow, Day 5 of The Cat's Pajamas fall release!  Isn't great and isn't this the cutest Mummy you've ever seen?  The Flip Frame CutUp makes a great little tombstone to create this spooky scene.  This entire release is so wonderfully versatile!  You can't wait to get your hands on it, right?

I fussy cut Mummy #1, but did I mention the FREE cut files available for download?  They are available for all the set in the new release.  I used my Silhouette to cut Mummy #2 on the next project...what a breeze!  Speaking of the Silhoutte, the Cutable popup candy treat below, will be available with the new release.  How do you make it?  Take a look here for the how-to video.

Sneak Peek Day 4! Vintage Halloween

Here we are at Day 3 of The Cat's Pajamas Sneak Peeks.  I LOVE THIS STAMP SET!  So many possibilities, the third in a series.  It is a match made for the Framed Up CutUps.  As you will see, I was most definitely inspired by this one.  I even sneaked the bats and spider webs on to my last two cards.

Here's my take 1, a Happy Haunting Card:

And take 2, a little trash to treasure creation for the little trick or treaters in your future:

This little goodie holder is obviously a TP roll.  The eyes and the images on the tag are from the stamp set.  The base is part of a great CupUps die set I am sure you will be seeing a lot more of.

So here's your sneak peak of the CutUps and the stamp set...you're going to love creating with them!

I got this set just a short while ago.  I love how Sprinkle is showing her sassy self!  I used watercolor and some Smooch Spritz to do the sky.  I colored the image with Copic markers and fussy cut Sprinkle and the clouds.  I made this card this weekend and the sentiment proved so true!
